Empire State Theatre and Musical Instrument Museum Wurlitzer

ESTMIM includes a collection of mechanical music instruments which includes the 1928 Style 235 3/11 Wurlitzer Opus 1143 from the former RKO Keiths Theatre in downtown Syracuse.  The organ was relocated to the current location in 1966 and installed in the Art and Home Building’s Empire Theatre.   

Today, the ESTMIM Wurlitzer is located in the Empire Theatre of the Art and Home Center building along with a collection of mechanical musical instruments. The organ including its console continues to operate utilizing its original mechanical pneumatic relay system.
